Three state of the art monitors ascend in a zagging pattern from the base of a large processing block. Under the monitors is a slate grey examination surface. The terminal controls are projected on a plastic extension on the side of the machine. This is a general purpose research unit, appropriate for constructing investigation code queries and determining material composition.
